Nature, Electricity & Bears ! OH MY

Again, I don't know how to make the pictures in the order I want them. . . Todd's parents from LV visited us while in area for wedding, what a pleasant treat!  We visited (first pix) Boundary Dam on the Pend Orielle River, these are the lines coming up hill from HUGE turbines below,  265000 horsepower, and the elec travels across state to Seattle in ONE SECOND!   It is impressive to see.

Then we "hiked" to Sweet Creek Falls, some other visitors snapped pix for us. . . the falls were roaring with spring run off.  You can see in background...

Then the bears, Kim snapped pix from his pickup last Sunday while visiting a neighbor 2 miles up road from us. . . a mom and two cubs, when he snapped pix, one cub stood up and turned to see. . .

Sheila ventured into a cave on hike, all turned out well.

Sullivan lake was looking-glass clear, it was beautiful today.

Life is good.

  1. Nice report! I remember the bears from the Happy Camp days... It's strange to see you both in the same picture - we're not there to make a complete connection. ;) You all look like you had fun. And it does look so beautiful! Can't wait to see it ourselves.
